Warm Weather Is Expected For The Rest Of This Week Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: An area of high pressure will control the weather this afternoon with lots of sunshine expected. Temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 8 to 16 mph. Tonight & Thursday: Warm and dry weather is expected for Thursday thanks to that high pressure system. Tonight looks cloudy with low temperatures near 55 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Thursday is expected to be a sunny to partly sunny day with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Friday Through Saturday: Dry and warm weather looks to continue for Friday and Saturday as high pressure remains in control. Friday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Saturday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures near 75 Degrees. Sunday: It appears that the weather pattern will begin to undergo a significant change from warm weather to some quite cold weather. On Sunday, a frontal system will sink southward towards our area. At the same time this is happening, an area of low pressure looks to ride along this front and move through our area on Sunday. This all means that Sunday looks cloudy and there looks to be some shower activity during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Next Week’s Weather Outlook Includes Some Quite Cold Weather: That strong cold front looks to move through the area either on Monday night or during the day on Halloween. Once this front moves through, it’ll pull some of the coldest weather thus far this season into our area. In addition, it looks like the first widespread hard freeze will occur around the middle part of next week. Monday looks cloudy with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees. Widespread showers looks to affect the region at some point during Monday night and Halloween depending on the exact speed of the frontal system. Also, it’s possible that the showers could end as some snow showers across the Berkshires and across the Worcester Hills as that much colder air pushes into the area. Low temperatures Monday night will be near 40 Degrees. High temperatures on Halloween will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. As for Halloween evening and Halloween night – Bundle up the kiddos as it looks quite chilly. I have hopes that things should dry out by the evening, but it’s something that definitely will need to be watched. Low temperatures Halloween night will be between 25 and 30 Degrees and thus a hard freeze looks likely. Next Wednesday looks sunny with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Next Thursday and Friday both look partly sunny. High temperatures next Thursday will be near 45 Degrees. High temperatures next Friday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.
