Update On Saturday’s Morning Light Snowfall Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: Skies are expected to become cloudy by midnight tonight with cloudy skies then expected during the after midnight hours of tonight. Low temperatures will be between 20 and 25 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: An area of low pressure is expected to move off of the Mid-Atlantic coastline during Saturday morning and then track far enough south of our area to not be an impact on our weather. Instead, it appears that a smaller storm system will move across the area during Saturday morning.

Light snow is expected to overspread Western Mass by 4-5 am Saturday morning and then overspread Central Mass by 5-6 am Saturday morning.

Light snow is then expected to continue for several hours during Saturday morning across Western Mass and throughout the entire morning across Central Mass.

The steady light snow then looks to come to an end by 10-11 am Saturday morning across Western Mass and then by 12-1 pm across Central Mass.

Turning to Saturday afternoon, skies look to remain cloudy across the entire area with all snow have ended across the entire area.

Snowfall amounts during Saturday morning will range from around one inch across all of Western Mass and across areas near and south of the Mass Pike across Central Mass to 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation across areas of Central Mass that are north of the Mass Pike.
