For Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies can be expected throughout tonight. In addition, it will continue to be windy throughout tonight. Low temperatures will be near 15 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph. Wind chill temperatures tonight will be between Zero and 5 below zero.
Friday: While it will continue to be windy during the morning, it appears that the winds will start decreasing during the afternoon. Sunny skies are expected throughout the day on Friday. High temperatures will be near 35 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph in the morning and West to Northwest at 8 to 16 mph during the afternoon.
Friday Night & Saturday: An area of low pressure is expected to move off of the Mid-Atlantic coastline by Saturday morning and then track far enough south of our area to not be an impact on our weather. Instead, it appears that a smaller storm system moving eastward from the Great Lakes region will pass through the area on Saturday morning giving us some light snow.
Friday night will start out clear to partly cloudy during the early evening hours, but then skies will become cloudy by midnight. Cloudy skies are then expected during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 20 and 25 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at around 5 mph.
Turning to Saturday, it appears that some light snow can be expected to begin across the region by about 7-8 am or so in the morning and then continue throughout the morning. The light snow looks to then come to an end by early afternoon Saturday.
Around one inch or so of snow accumulation can be expected during Saturday morning across the area.
High temperatures Saturday will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday & Monday: An area of high pressure will cross the region from Sunday through Monday.
Sunday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees.
Monday is expected to feature a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds with high temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees.
Tuesday Through Wednesday: A frontal system is expected to cross the region during the day Tuesday. This front will bring with it another shot of colder air behind it.
Tuesday will be cloudy and there will be some scattered snow showers during the late morning into the afternoon hours. High temperatures will be between 30 and 35 Degrees.
Wednesday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 25 and 30 Degrees.
