Other Than Some Scattered Light Rain During Wednesday Night & Thursday, Much Of The Next Week Looks Dry Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: An area of high pressure that’s still located over our area will give us partly cloudy skies throughout tonight. It should be noted that areas of fog and low clouds may occur in some spots late tonight through sunrise Tuesday morning.

Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Areas of fog and low clouds will give way to partly sunny skies by mid to late morning. Skies during Tuesday afternoon are expected to be partly sunny across the entire area.

High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Generally partly cloudy skies are expected during Tuesday night. Low temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Through Friday: The weather forecast becomes a little more uncertain as a low pressure system now located over southeastern North Carolina tries to track northward towards our area. How far north this low pressure system tracks will depend on whether the high pressure system over our area deflects it to the east or not.

At this point, I think that areas north of the Mass Pike should stay dry. Areas near and especially south of the Mass Pike may see some light rain during Wednesday night and Thursday. Even in areas that do see light rain are likely to see amounts that are too light to really matter in terms of alleviating the dry conditions.

Wednesday looks cloudy with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.

Wednesday night and Thursday are expected to be cloudy with some periods of light rain across areas near and south of the Mass Pike. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be near 60 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be near 70 Degrees.

Friday looks cloudy with high temperatures near 70 Degrees.

This Weekend: Skies look to become partly sunny during Saturday as that low pressure system departs to the east. High temperatures Saturday will be between 65 and 70 Degrees.

Sunday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees.
