For Tonight: Drizzle and fog will be the main story of tonight’s weather across the region. Some of the fog will be locally very dense, so use caution if you are out and about tonight. Temperatures tonight will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday: A warm front is expected to push northward into the area during the day Sunday.
Rain is expected from about mid-morning until early afternoon. Once the rain ends, we will be left with areas of drizzle and fog during the mid and late afternoon hours.
High temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: A very mild night is expected across the region.
Skies will be cloudy throughout the night and there will be areas of fog and some of the fog will be locally dense.
Spotty drizzle is expected during Sunday evening with scattered showers expected to affect the area during the after midnight hours.
It appears that steady rain will overspread the entire area by 5-6 am Monday morning.
Temperatures will be near 45 Degrees for most of the night, but are expected to rise to near 50 Degrees by sunrise Monday morning. Winds will be South at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
Monday: A rather robust frontal system is expected to push its way through the region during Monday morning.
Rain, which will be heavy at times, can be expected throughout Monday morning. The rain is expected to come to an end by about midday Monday.
Once that front moves through, it is expected to become sunny during Monday afternoon.
High temperatures Monday will be near 55 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph in the morning and West at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph in the afternoon.
New Year’s Eve: A sunny to partly sunny day is expected on New Year’s Eve with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
The weather for First Night celebrations look dry to start with, but will end fairly rainy. Increasing clouds are expected during the evening. Rain looks to begin across the region as we ring in 2025 with the rain continuing through the after midnight hours of Tuesday night. Low temperatures will be between 35 and 40 Degrees.
New Year’s Day: Rain is expected to continue throughout the morning before it tapers off to scattered rain showers during the afternoon. It should be noted that some snow showers are possible during the afternoon in the Berkshires as colder air moves into the area.
High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees with temperatures falling into the mid to upper 30s during the afternoon.
