Cold Weather Expected Tonight Right Through Sunday & Monday; A Rain Storm Is Expected From Wednesday Through Wednesday Night & Thursday Morning

For Tonight: The cold front that brought a quick 20 degree drop in temperatures and a quick change from rain showers to snow showers will continue pushing to the east tonight. In the front’s wake, an area of high pressure will build in across the area during tonight.


Skies tonight will be clear to partly cloudy and it will be cold and windy. Low temperatures will be between 5 and 10 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Wind chill temperatures will be around minus 10 throughout tonight.


Sunday: A cold and windy day is expected under lots of sunshine. High temperatures will be between 20 and 25 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.


Sunday Night: Another cold night under clear skies is expected. Low temperatures will be between Zero and 5 above zero. Winds will be Northwest at 8 to 16 mph.


Monday: That high pressure system will continue to control the weather throughout the day on Monday.


This means that skies will be sunny and it will be cold. High temperatures will be near 30 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 10 to 15 mph.


Tuesday: Milder temperatures can be expected on Tuesday under partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be near 45 Degrees.


A Rain Storm Is Expected From Wednesday Through Wednesday Night & Thursday Morning: A strong low pressure system is expected to push northeastward into the Great Lakes region during Wednesday before heading into southern Canada by Thursday. This strong low pressure system will pull a pretty strong cold front through the region during Wednesday night and Thursday morning.


This entire weather system is likely to bring rain to the entire area during Wednesday, Wednesday night and Thursday morning. A period of heavy rain looks quite possible during Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.


Rainfall totals of around one inch or so still looks quite possible with this storm system.


High temperatures Wednesday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be near 40 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be near 55 Degrees.


Friday: That low pressure system will move away during Friday with chillier air moving in behind the storm system.


Skies on Friday looks sunny with high temperatures near 45 Degrees.
