60 To 65 Degree Temperatures Along With A Very High Brush Fire Danger Is Expected On Tuesday Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: Clear skies are expected throughout tonight across the area. Low temperatures will be between 33 and 38 Degrees. Winds will be West to Southwest at 6 to 13 mph.


Tuesday: The combination of gusty southwesterly winds, mild temperatures and low humidity levels will lead to a very high danger for brush fires throughout the day on Tuesday.


Skies on Tuesday will be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph.


Wednesday Through Friday: Cooler temperatures are expected for both Wednesday and especially on Thursday as a northerly wind flow takes control over the area.


Wednesday will be sunny to partly sunny for much of the day, however, skies will become cloudy by evening. High temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph.


A weak weather disturbance looks to interact with a southward moving weak front to produce lots of clouds throughout Wednesday night and Thursday. In addition, it appears that there might be just enough lift in the atmosphere to produce some scattered snow showers during the after midnight hours of Wednesday night into the first part of Thursday morning. Other than that, things look dry for Wednesday night and Thursday. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be between 25 and 30 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.


Friday looks cloudy with high temperatures near 50 Degrees.


This Weekend: A rather strong frontal system is expected to push through the area during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night bringing with it a period of rain that is likely to be heavy in intensity.


Saturday looks cloudy and there may be some scattered showers during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees.


Saturday night will be cloudy with scattered showers. Low temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.


Turning to Sunday, scattered showers in the morning will turn into rain throughout the afternoon and at night. The rain is likely to be heavy in intensity at times. Early indications seem to point towards rainfall amounts of around one inch or so. In addition to this, it is likely to be windy throughout Sunday and Sunday night. High temperatures Sunday will be near 60 Degrees.
